Discipleship is a journey of learning to follow Jesus more closely. It’s not just about knowledge – it’s about growing in relationship with Him, discovering His purpose for our lives, and learning how to live out our faith every day.
In discipleship we find encouragement, accountability, and community as we become more like Christ.
Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19).
Discipleship matters because it’s how we grow as His followers, and in return helping others do the same.

Marriage Preparation Course:
Let’s Both Win
At Hillside, we offer a unique marriage preparation course called Let’s Both Win.
Developed by our own pastors,
this in-house, biblically-grounded course is designed to equip couples for a strong and lasting covenantal marriage.
Over six weeks, couples are guided through practical and spiritual foundations to help them build a relationship where both can truly thrive.
MARRIAGE COURSE

A program in which a couple with a strong, growing marriage comes alongside a struggling couple and walks with them for a period of time, working weekly through a set program and developing enduring friendship along the way. The program is also available to those preparing to be married.
Over nine weeks, the program covers the basics of marriage, ie communication, forgiveness etc, and is designed to bring God’s blessing of covenantal commitment info marriage.
While the course is completed in nine weeks, the friendship isn’t and the mentoring couple remain available to further encourage and assist until the mentee couple are enjoying a stable, growing marriage themselves

Hillside Church values the gift of prophecy, and we have a community that seeks to hear the heart of the Father for people. The prophetic team is a place to learn and grow in hearing God’s voice and in delivering messages that edify, encourage and comfort.
We meet once a month to align, have an active WhatsApp group to share words, ask questions and grow together, and we actively participate in meetings.
We emphasise loving people, growing in the gifting and allowing Christ to shape our character to carry the gift well.
