and this perfectly encapsulates our belief that in our diversity, being united through Jesus Christ we collectively express the fullness of God here on earth in our everyday life.
You are the church and together, in this expression of family, we are Hillside.
You have been made in the image and likeness of God. We want to see every person fully discover who they are in Christ so that they can express the love of God to the people and world around them, inviting people into relationship with the One that loves us first –
Father, Son and Spirit.

FAMILY BELIEFS AND VALUES
We believe the fear of the Lord draws us into holy awe as we behold the majesty of Jesus. We recognise God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – Three in One – with Christ as the Head of the Church.
We worship with gratitude and reverence, remembering how generously His love has been poured out on us.
We believe that all Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, guidance and encouragement. We live in expectation of Holy Spirit revealing God’s heart and power in supernatural ways.
We honor prophetic voices that bring vision and encouragement, always testing them against the Word of God.
We believe our identity flows from our position as sons and daughters of God. In humility and vulnerability, we pursue Christlikeness and wholeness. Through the unmerited grace and transforming power of Jesus Christ, by Holy Spirit, we are led to love one another and to embrace God’s good plans for our lives.
We are a family that values authentic, intergenerational relationships, marked by joy and celebration. We welcome everyone, including orphans, the needy, and the broken, into God’s family, where we love, care for and grow together in Christ.
VISION AND MISSION
As a church, we are committed to loving the Lord first and loving others as He commanded. We heed the Great Commission to advance the Kingdom and to leave a legacy of faith for generations to come. With love and service, we pursue freedom and transformation in our community, our nation and beyond.
We dream of Hillside as a home of salvation, family, freedom, healing, wholeness, discipleship, and mission: a place where people encounter the love of Jesus, grow in faith and are sent out to impact the world.
We exist to make Christ known by preaching the Word, welcoming the lost into God’s family, sharing the Gospel through evangelism and outreach and believing for the miraculous to bring glory to God.
We host the Presence of God in our daily lives and in our regular gatherings. As a priesthood of all believers, we encourage one another, pray together, and advance the Kingdom with perseverance. We are being formed into a unified Bride, pressing forward to make disciples of all nations. It is our privilege to steward what God has entrusted to us, to serve His Church and love His people. In this, we leave a legacy of hope and bring light into the darkness through the love of Christ.
